Basic Principles of Interpersonal Communication
A training program that helps participants become truly aware of the impact their communication has upon others.

Target Audience

All those who wish to enhance their professional profile and see themselves communicate, interact and collaborate in a more effective way

Training Goals

Contents

  • The Act of Receiving
    • Analysing the speaker’s message and identifying what he/she values most
    • Active listening
    • Recognizing the signs of the speaker’s body language
    • Getting acquainted with the scale of acceptance
    • Keeping personal beliefs under control
  • The Act of Responding
    • Making comments
    • Using keywords of the speaker 
    • Dealing positively with negative comments
    • Empathizing in practice
    • Adjusting directly to the speaker’s frequency 
  • Basic Human Needs (BHN)
    • Recognising the speaker’s needs 
    • Decoding and including the speaker’s needs in the response given
  • Barriers in Interpersonal Communication
    • The inner critic
    • Changing the communication path from negative to positive

 

Training Methodology

  • short presentations
  • continuous role-plays with a varying degree of difficulty during which each participant receives individual coaching 
  • individual personal feedback

 

Duration and Participations

2 training days (2 working days - 16 training hours) in groups of 8 participants
